Principles of editorial policy

The editorial policy of the electronic scientific journal «ENGINEERING» is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demands on the quality of scientific research; mandatory article review; adherence to collegiality in making decisions on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communication with the authors; strict observance of copyright and related rights.

The editorial board of the electronic scientific journal «ENGINEERING» supports a certain level of requirements for the selection and acceptance of articles submitted to the editorial board of the journal. The journal publishes materials that have fundamental scientific, theoretical and practical significance and which have not previously been published in other publications.

In its activities, the journal is guided by the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Ethical Code of Scientists of Ukraine, as well as the experience of foreign and Ukrainian professional communities, research organizations and publications.

The editorial board of the electronic scientific journal «ENGINEERING» evaluates manuscripts by their intellectual content, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship or political views of the author of the written scientific work (article).

If the authors of a written scientific work (article) used the works and/or expressions of other people, they must be properly executed.

Publishing someone else’s article for one’s own, copying or paraphrasing a large part of someone else’s text (without indicating the authorship), appropriating the results of research conducted by others, is considered unethical behavior and is unacceptable.

The editorial board of the electronic scientific journal «ENGINEERING» accepts for consideration the scientific articles of the authors on the materials of research and scientific and technical developments. The submitted articles are considered by the editorial board of the publication and after receiving a positive review are accepted for publication.
